Violin Maker

An artist-Violin Maker. In 1986 he received his MA in artistic instrument making and instrument maintenance at the Poznań School of Music.
The same year he started teaching instrument making and history of instrument making at the State Secondary Music School, in Poznań.
In 1993 he started teaching instrument making and lecturing students on the history of instrument making at the Poznań School of Music. In 2007 he became Deputy Dean of the String Instruments and Instrument Making Department of the Poznań School of Music.
In 1986 he became member of the Polish Association of Artists-Violin Makers, where he participates in numerous seminars, presenting his papers on theoretical issues related to the construction of instruments.
He has had his own instrument making workshop for over twenty years, constructing around fifty instruments (violins, violas, cellos, guitars and historical instruments.)
For many years his speciality field has been corrections and maintenance, where he cooperates with numerous institutions of music and musicians from Poland and abroad.
